Xpress Review: How To Train Your Dragon 2 [2014]

"You have the heart of a chief. And the soul of a dragon"

Directed By: Dean DeBlois
Written By: Dean DeBlois
Voiced By: Jay Baruchel, Cate Blanchett, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Djimon Hounsu, Kit Harington
The Story: Hiccup (voiced by Jay Baruchel) and his dragon, Toothless discovers an ice cave full new wild dragons. However a gigantic war is looming that threatens mankind.
The Verdict: This second installment continues everything right from the hugely entertaining original movie, How To Train Your Dragon [2010]. It offers exhilarating and pulsating sequences that will simply mesmerize the audience. There's still heartfelt moments, but one thing is for sure after watching the movie. You'll want to own a dragon of your own!!

  1. OK.. I was wondering if I was going to skip this one in the theater but I guess I will go! I want to see 22 Jump Street this weekend too. My husband is headed to Edge of Tomorrow, tomorrow night but I might hit 22 Jump Street instead.

    2. 22 Jump Street is a movie I want to watch too! But unfortunately it hasn't opened where I live.

Thanks Angie! People really shouldn't be embarrassed about what they like. I used to be a bit when I was younger, but not anymore!

    1. I agree, this is why I love animation so much. There's so many elements too it, the excitement, the touching scenes. That's why whenever an animation is nominated for Best Picture, I always defend it... it deserves to be there too!
